Woman dies a year after her lung transplant operation, only to find out she was given the lungs of someone who smoked regularly for 30 years.
Just imagine if she'd had the option on a set of lungs to purchase instead? I fully comprehend that organs are not the same as many other commodities, and certainly lungs are unlike many other organs, but do we really think that the system in play is the best one? If so, why?

Dear democracy stooges, Hows this for you? Federal judge tells your neighbor they get 6 votes, and you get 1. But democracy is fair right? It's the best system, right? You are worth less in their eyes than somebody else, based upon nothing but the colour of a persons skin. Go democracy!
At least in a voluntary society you get a fighting chance...
